Like vehicles, MINDS do the U-turn too

Tonight, I'm in an unsure state of mind. Yes, unsure. I don't know, I know I'm happy and my life's been doing great the past couple of days and weeks. Nothin's really been wrong and there hasn't been some kind of trouble taking place in my life. Somehow, there's just this unidentifiable factor that slightly affects a portion of my mentality right now. Yep, it's unidentifiable. Like, you can't see it you don't know what exactly this thing is, but you know it's there and it's sort of bugging you. But I'm fine, really. Yet there's still this factor that vaguely distracts me. I'm happy but I feel like something isn't right. I'M NOT SURE, see?! Told ya I'm in an unsure state of mind! It's not like I'm affected in a negative way; not like this "unidentifiable factor" is nearly destroying my life, no it ain't exactly like that.

It's been another typical day, it's gone by so fast and it's this late night segment of my life again. To be honest, this part is basically like the defining moment of my every entire day. Not like everyday during this segment that something out of the ordinary happens, not all the time, atleast. But yes. This particular portion of my everyday is something really special, definitely my favorite part. Sometimes it's very ordinary though, but I ofcourse love it more when it's extraordinary at times too.

This is crazy and the topic of this blog is slowly skipping on different topics, but the thing is. There are times in life where you know you need or sometimes, just simply "want" to express things, like share your thoughts about something. And once you've released those words, once they escaped your lips already, all of a sudden this uncertain feeling comes along. Then you'll feel like what you did was wrong, when truthfully you have really no clue as to whether it is a good or bad idea to do it. Like, ya know what I mean folks? It's a confusing thing, really. But you just suddenly feel like your mind is speaking to you afterwards, saying somethin' like, "I don't think I should've said those things." Like, you know it's not "so right" but definitely not wrong either, what you believe in is that "it's okay to share your thoughts". But now that things have been said and done, your mind kinda does a u-turn, changing its state and now thinking that it was quite awkward to have yourself say whatever all those stuffs were that you said. ARGHH

This is so weird, what a funny feeling. It's not so bad when you think of it but it'll sure drive you crazy. I'll live though, that's for sure.

God bless, folks.

It's like this

Believe me, folks. I always have the patience and I can practically tolerate it, but sometimes you just get right at the end of your tether and you can't handle it no more. We all have limits to our patience and tolerance and once we reach them, we just.... go berserk. It's uncontrollable no matter how much people around you tell you to get a grip and whatevss. It's just too much. I mean, I love her and I don't.. want to, you know. I don't wanna feel some sort of annoyance against her, I've always tried my best to stay nice and tolerate everything but she just goes too much. Her actions are unacceptable and inexcusable. I truly love her that's why I always give it my best to "understand" the possible reasons behind her 'misbehaving actions'. I'm always understanding. I've always done it well to understand her side, but.. As been said, you just burst when you know it's too much. You love people and will certainly do everything to understand them, but shouldn't they do their part too? Shouldn't they try to cooperate? This is cooperation we're talking about, this is the key to a good reconciliation. I love her and if she keeps going that way, I'll be the one to be a lil "distant" from her and keep that space visible - through that way, I can control and won't suffer too much from seeing her act up and misbehave all the time. I'll be certainly at peace this way.

EPILOGUE

For 4 long days, the gang just practically enjoyed themselves, ignoring all worries and problems, not letting anything get in between them, making one another feel that nothing and no one can stop them from that sensation. They were gonna achieve pure fun, altogether, all 5 of them together.

Each of their lives had encountered changes right after Desiree left for Canada 2 years ago. Then they entered college, there were just too many adjusments to do, too many new circumstances to be capable of handling. Things had changed, they were not getting any younger no more, little by little as time passed they felt that things could never be the same way they used to be, they had yearned to see each other but they always felt hopeless about their schedules with their partially "new" lives, there was just a bunch of obstacles that got in their way, always ruining their plans of meeting again.

But now, they were just more powerful and they truly dominated over these 'obstacles.' These obstacles didn't properly "get to grips" with the power of the gang. The gang had overpowered everything that could hinder their plans and in what seemed like a snap of a finger, they were reunited, they were back in each other's fold again, and finally had that chance to do things together... just like the old times. ;)

Chapter 4

The gang gathered in the bedroom, and readied themselves with some snacks to munch.

"So fellas, shall we start with the latest updates about each one from the group?" Jessica broke in while she lounged on the couch, her body sprawled on the fluffy mattress occupying half of the couch.

"And since you led the discussion, you start updating us." Josh ordered, resting his back against the board of the bed, legs stretched out, feet crossed.

"Well you've already known that I'm in the gym and that I'll start wrestling soon and stuff." Jessica said, taking a sip from her soda.

"Oh yeah. I forgot." Josh sarcastically replied and pretended to be dumb, the girls chuckled.

"And what about you dummy?" Jessica asked him back.

"Oh me, well I'm uhh. I'm driving." Josh mumbled while he took a scoop of his double-dutch ice cream.

"I noticed that." Des chuckled.

"And I'm also already taken, by the way." Josh notified, sort of warning the girls.

"And what was that supposed to mean?" Mitch questioned.

"Yeah you really had to add "by the way" to that huh?" Jessica got along with Mitch's comment.

"Well I'm just... warning you girls." Josh uncertainly said. "I ain't single no more, CAREFUL!" he emphasized.

The girls looked at one another and then back at Josh and all bursted into a mutual laughter.

"What the heck?!!" Josh cluelessly asked, confused.

"C'mon Josh.." Mitch could barely talk because of her giggles, "Do you really think that we will - "

"That one of you girls will like me as time passes and we'll be dating? YEAH! NEARLY POSSIBLE!" Josh strongly replied.

"EEW, GROSS!!!!!" The 4 girls shrieked in unison and expressed a slight disgust to what Josh said, and all of them laughed.

"Hahahahaha. Ofcourse I was joking about that." Josh said, regaining himself.

"We know!" retorted the girls.

"But yeah, one of you girls, will marry me" Josh brought the topic back up.

"STOP IT OR WE'LL THROW UP IN THE BATHROOM!" Jessica jokingly yelled at him.

When all the laughing started to fade away slowly, Des spoke, "Hey Jaqui what are ya up to?"

"I'm still that old me ya know," Jaqui answered, her voice laid back, indian-sittin' right next to Josh on the bed.

"I know right! It's still her, look" Mitch, on the other half of the couch eating chips with her feet raised onto the tea table in front, joined the discussion and added, "still slender, her hair's still straight and long, it's the same Jaqui."

"But hey by the way," Jessica threw in and grabbed some chips from Mitch's bowl, "if you fellas could focus on Jaqui's clothes today..." Everybody started to silently look on what Jaqui was wearing, but couldn't figure out what Jessica was trying to point out so they looked back at her and asked, "Whatcha talkin' about?"

"Look at the shirt, folks." Jessica replied with a snicker.

"Oh would you look at that!" Desiree pointed at Jaqui's shirt while she sat on the end of the bed.

"Oh now I get it! You're wearing a Yuto shirt!" Mitch exclaimed and laughed.

"You're wearing... what?" Josh mocked trying to hold back his laughter but Jessica bursted into a loud laughter so he couldn't control.

"SHUT THE FUDGE UP ALL OF YOU!" Jaqui screamed at them, but she was smiling. "What's so funny? Or maybe you guys just find him too hot!"

"Oh pleaseeeee" Mitch begged and laughed some more.

"Whatever all of you! Don't you know, this has some kind of sentimental value to me! Not only because it's a Yuto shirt.. LET ME TELL YOU GUYS THE WHOLE STORY BEHIND IT." Jaqui told them while everyone got rid of the giggles and remained silent to listen to her.

6 months ago Japanese star Nakajima Yuto arrived in the Philippines and held a show at the Araneta Coliseum. Jaqui didn't hesitate no more when she heard Yuto's coming, and she immediately inquired about the ticket rates, the tickets didn't cost too high nor too low, and she was more than satisfied to be in the patron seat section (it was close enough to the stage to get a nice view of Yuto). Towards the end of his show, Yuto was wearing that very shirt. Before he ended it, he yelled to the crowd, "Ma-la-meeng Sa-ramat poww!" (Thank you very much!), trying his best to make the Filipino accent roll his tongue off well, and he took his shirt off and threw it to the crowd. Jaqui screamed as she did her best to reach for the shirt he threw, battling and struggling with the other fans from the audience who were just as desperate as she was to catch the shirt. Eventually, she succeeded in capturing it with her tightest grips.

"And that's the whole story!" Jaqui exclaimed, smiling at the beautiful memory, as she hugged her favorite shirt.

"Wow. You were wild." Josh plainly commented.

"And you were... battling with the other fans and screaming and all? I can't picture you out! Haha!" Des told her.

"We never thought you could be like that, not even once." Jessica added.

"Guess that's something new about Jaqui!" Mitch said.

"And what's somethin' new about Mitch?" Des questioned.

"Well?" Mitch paused.

"Well what?" Josh and Jessica questioned, at the same time sipped their sodas.

"Well I got myself a guy now!!!!" Mitch enthusiastically broke the news out.

"WHAT?!!!" Jaqui and Des asked, they were in shock while Josh and Jessica almost blew their drinks outta their mouths.

"JOKE." Mitch smiled devilishly and laughed.

"Ha-ha-ha. Funny." Josh sarcastically said.

"No, but seriously Mitch?" Des asked.

"I was kidding! And nothin' too much is new with me. Except that I'm engaged into the whole intern-thing, and... I'm obsessed with this whole Domo fascination thing too!" Mitch expressed her delight. "And I want to learn how to drive too! Like Josh!"

"Mom's started teaching me now, just the basic stuff, and I don't think I'm at the legal age to get a real driving license yet. Well, maybe student's license." Jessica stated, connecting with the whole "driving" thing.

"Hey Des didn't you learn how to drive too?" Jaqui asked.

"Yeah, I did. I learned how to drive. I then got the chance to travel alone, sometimes only. I'm still taking care of my part time job, so I rarely went out to different places. So yeah.... " Des continued to update her friends "Then I joined the lottery, I won, I got the money, I flew here, and now I'm with you guys." Des was like a lil pussycat acting tenderly to her friends.

"Aaww isn't that sweet!!!" Josh exclaimed, acting dumb like a cutie kitten too.

"Aaww!!!" The three other girls joined the chant.

"And hey by the way again," Jessica interrupted, "Everything here is captured and documented by our dear video-cam over there.." Jessica notified them and pointed to her video-camera that was standing on its tripod from a distance, recording every single second of the whole gang being together... AGAIN.

CHAPTER 3

They walked to the entrance door and slowly paced inside to the main lobby.

"Woooooooooooow," All 5 of them muttered in a long, fading sound as they were taken aback by the beautiful sight of the lobby.

"Goodafternoon ma'am, goodafternoon sir." They were greeted by the guys in black suit, standing by the door, with pleasant smiles.

"Goodafternoon to you guys too." Des greeted back while her 4 other pals didn't seem to hear the gentlemen's greetings. Desiree looked for and immediately headed to the front desk for their reservation, while the other folks continued to be amazed at the wonderful sight.

"Goodafternoon, uhm... Suite reservation under Desiree Lentuck?" Des politely asked the lady on the front desk.

While Des took care of their reservation and payment, Mitch, Jessica, Josh, and Jaqui explored the whole lobby lounge. They stepped on the large beautiful carpet with a nice abstract print on it and walked and walked around. Mitch sat on one couch and comforted herself, Jessica and Josh were slightly making fun of the paintings on the walls, saying that some of these look like Josh, or Jessica too, while Jaqui looked outside through the large window glasses and smiled at the greenery scene she was seeing. Then the 3 joined Mitch in the seats.

"We're really here. You believe that folks?" Jessica said, it was still beyond her belief that they were really inside their dream hotel, all 5 of them together.

"Hey guys I got the keys now!" Des shouted a little from a distance, waving the keys in her hand as she walked closer.

The folks were excited and quickly got up, "Let's go folks!" Josh enthused and they raced up the majestic stairs with their full, jam-packed, and bursting bags.

They walked down at the end of the hall where they found their door number. Josh took Desiree's luggage so she could open the door with the key. The door opened to their suite... Desiree walked in first, followed by Jessica.

"Holy cow..." Jessica muttered, astonished by how big and spacious and just radiant the suite looked.

"Is that holy cow flying?" Mitch, who was busy texting on her phone, cluelessly asked; not being aware that they're entering the suite.

"What the fudge are you talking about?!" Josh slapped Mitch's arm, "LOOK AT OUR SUITE!"

Mitch looked up, away from her phone, and saw the place and it left her speechless.

"What's this suite called?" Jaqui asked.

"Horizon Deluxe Suite." Des answered.

The place just looked splendid. Comfy couches, 37-inch LCD television, kitchenette, dining area, and the beautiful view of the cities from the glass window, which will look more splendid at night time. The group wanted just one room for all of them, they didn't believe in having separate rooms. Pure fun is achieved through being together anytime, any place. And besides, it was a king-size bed, just big enough for the five of them.

"And guys," Des called their attention, "I was told that they got complimentary broadband internet access here, so I hope you brought your laptops or notebooks or whatever."

"WE DID!" The 4 fellas said simultaneously, proudly raising their laptop bags high above their heads.

CHAPTER 2

"So Des, how was your flight?" Josh asked as he drove onto Ayala Avenue.

"Quite long. But strangely, it didn't bore me." Des replied.

"Excitement must've caught up with you, that's why." Jaqui commented.

"I really was excited. I even arrived earlier than you guys thought right? And I surprised you all!" Des exclaimed.

"Yeah? And since when were you here then?" Josh asked.

"Since last night." Des replied with a grin.

"You look awesome Des! You slimmed down a bit too!" Mitch said, admiring Desiree's fine appearance.

"Yeah Des, you lost some, ugh.. WEIGHT" Josh pointed out, emphasizing the word 'weight' as she mockingly glared at Jessica who was sitting right next to him in the front seat.

"Shut up and drive, barf fag!" Jessica retorted and shot him a dirty look, the three other girls at the back chuckled.

"Yeah shut up Josh, atleast Jessica's started getting in the gym now." Jaqui mentioned, saving Jessica.

"Yeah atleast she's doing something about it, UNLIKE YOU JOSH! You've always been a couch potato!" Mitch threw in, mocking Josh playfully and they all laughed.

"Hey Jessica when did you start gettin' in the gym?" Des asked.

"Uhm... about 2 weeks ago? I just had to do it. I figured I needed to since I tried to enroll in a wrestling school, and they told me about the required weight to the corresponding height and stuff, I needed to lose some weight before training, they said." Jessica explained.

"Wow. Things are going great for you, and you know what.. I honestly think you lost some weight!" Des admired.

"Oh stop it Des" Jessica begged, and everybody laughed.

"Looks like this is it guys." Josh said, slowly pulling the car over.

"OMG!!!! This is our... our..." Mitch exclaimed and little by little, she tried to find the right words to say.

"OUR DREAM HOTEL!!!!!!!" The group yelled in unison as they finally found a nice parking area and got off the car.

Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Yes they were, they were really in their dream hotel.

Just Like The Old Times - Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Jessica was finally done with her one-hour cardio workout and she grabbed her face towel and started to pat her face dry; she was exceedingly sweating just like how she usually is everytime she gets in the gym. She began walking towards the women's locker room.

"Hey young lady don't tell me you're done already, you haven't done some boxing moves yet." Erick, her personal trainer, got in her way and stopped her.

"Ha-ha. So my trainer's gotten even much stricter now huh?" Jessica jested.

"Not that I'm tighter or stricter now, but isn't boxing part of your regular workout? Isn't it in your routine?" Erick asked.

"Ugh, not today, man. Maybe the day after tomorrow. I'm quite in a hurry now and I ain't got too much time to rape those punching bags and those mitts ya know," Jessica explained while doing the boxing-hand-motion.

"I see you're heading elsewhere huh,"

"Got that right. I'm off to the airport with my folks to see our long-time-never-seen friend who's arriving today, fresh from Canada."

"Seems like you're gonna have fun today. Alright then, I'm letting you go. Have fun!" Erick said as he raised his right palm gesturing for a high-five.

"Haha! Thanks, man. Bye!" Jessica smiled and slapped her palm against Erick's.

She continued walking towards the locker room, took a shower, and got dressed. She grabbed her things and left.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ringing of her phone woke Jaqui up. She reached for her phone from under her pillow and answered it.

"Hello?" Jaqui sluggishly said.

"Jaqui. It's good to know you're awake already." She heard the voice of her mom.

"Well, the ringing of my phone woke me up"

"Anyway, your sisters have gone to your cousins, and I took your little bro with me here at the market so technically you're alone there. I know you're heading somewhere else too, but I'll leave you just one single task for today and that is to take the plastic of fabrics and bring it to your Tiyang Anna, she's been askin' for it the other day. And make sure you lock the main door and the gate before you leave, and I have the duplicate keys with me."

"Sure mom. Goodbye." Jaqui put her phone back down.

They haven't prepared some breakfast for Jaqui before they left, now she was thinking twice of eating or just leaving without a single ounce of nourishment inside her tummy. She glanced at their wall clock and it told her it was 9:30am and she knew she had to be ready by 10:30am. Realizing she only had an hour to prepare herself, she thought it'd take her much longer if she'd prepare herself some breakfast so she decided not to eat anymore. Jessica and Jaqui were supposed to head to Josh's crib first, as what Josh instructed them last night and they'd get going together to meet up Mitch, then finally meet Desiree at the airport. She was seeing her folks again today, and they would see Desiree again after so long. A smile of excitement grew on Jaqui's face. She excitedly grabbed her towel and headed straight to the bathroom to get herself ready.

After a 30-minute bath, Jaqui was done and now she was having a hard time picking the finest clothes to wear for the day.

"This one.. No, this one... Wait, maybe this looks better, no wait it's damaged!" Jaqui exclaimed, as her hands problematically rummaged her closet, looking for the nicest thing to wear.
"I better find something really nice, I'm meeting the girls-plus-guy again today and there's no way I'll --- WAIT, AHA! GOTCHA!" Jaqui finally spotted what seemed like her most-favorite shirt and excitedly grabbed it.

It was a black Nakajima Yuto Shirt that fell loosely as she put it on. And did we mention Jaqui's a die-hard Yuto fan? There's a very outstanding story behind it as to why it's a bit loose for her, when and where did she get it, and most importantly, from whom did she get it. That story is forever stamped on Jaqui's memory. She once again remembered that wonderful story of hers, which by the way, she'd happily tell her fellas about, later as she sees them again.

Her phone suddenly rang and the ringing sound of it echoed around their empty, quiet house. She ran to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jaqui what's uppie?" Jessica sounded vibrant from the other line as she hollered Jaqui.

"Hi Jessica, I'm all dressed up. Just runnin' some errands for mom and I'm on my way. You at Josh's crib yet?" asked Jaqui.

"Uhmm, not quite. But I just got off the jeepney and I'm walkin' already, and I'm only a couple of footsteps away from his house. I just hope he's all geared up already, he wasn't answering my texts and calls. Now I'm suspecting that maybe he hasn't even showered yet and that he's still sleepin'!"

"What? C'mon maybe he's just busy readyin' himself, he better be ready by now!"

"Yeah. I know, or else our plans are destroyed! We can't be late."

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Josh is all prepared. And I've my fingers crossed by the way." Jaqui assured.

"Well keep 'em crossed 'cause I'm about to find it out NOW. I'm in front of their house and about to go inside. Just text me if you're on your way okay? Bye"

Jaqui hung up, grabbed her things, and the keys, and made her way outside.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hey Josh?" Jessica called out from the outside of his house. She didn't really used to do this before; like calling out her bestbud's name first before getting inside, like sort of asking for permission to come in..she usually just undid their gate and opened it herself and she just normally got inside. But this time, she called his name out to check if she was gonna receive answers, giving her atleast a hint that Josh is already up and isn't snorin' in his sleep anymore. To her dismay, Josh didn't respond. Jessica undid the gate and pushed it open now, going inside. Silently, she walked up to Josh's bedroom, and opened the door.

Jessica's jaw noticeably dropped at what she saw: Josh was still sleeping, he's all crawled under his bed's covers which were pulled up all the way to his head so his whole body is covered. He almost looked like a human corpse in a morgue that's covered up with white cloth.

"What the fudge?! JOSH?!!!" Jessica tensely yelled at the still-sleeping Josh.

"I knew it, I knew this was gonna happen! In the first place you instructed everybody about what time to wake up, what time to be ready by, what time to get going, you acted like Mr. Sergeant at all and now what?!" Jessica continued, this time coming nearer to Josh's bed and she was gonna pull his blanket away from him, "Oh man now c'mon~ Get your butt up already and take a -"

"HEY OLD FAAAAAAAAAAAAAART!!!!!!!!!!!!" Josh suddenly roared at Jessica when she pulled out the covers, only to reveal that Josh was already dressed up in his smart casual clothes.

"YOU FREAKIN' HAM SANDWICH!!!! YOU PUNK'D ME!!!!" Jessica shrieked and reached for a pillow and smashed it to Josh's head.

"Ha-ha-ha you... -thought I ...-was ....-still as....-leep?" Josh said in between uncontrollable giggles.

"Well that's how you've always been! Always wakin' up late and all that!"

"Yeah but this time I surprised you!" exclaimed Josh.

"And how come you're geared up already? You're never like that dude."

"That's because I'm excited! Haha! Is Jaqui on her way yet?" asked Josh.

----"Just in time." -Jaqui abruptly popped out of nowhere, standing by the door of his room.

"HEY JAQUIIIII!!!!" The two shouted in unison, excited and happy that they're ALMOST complete now.

"I guess we should get going already." Jessica suggested.

"Yeah, Mitch is probably preparing-slash-already-prepared by now." Jaqui said, complying with Jessica's suggestion.

"Woohooo! This is gonna be fun! I'm excited!" Josh shouted.

"You should be!" - The two girls told him.

They all got in Josh's car and got going.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mitch was currently in a condo somewhere in the same place where the airport was located. She was applied in a drug store in that particular place for her medical training, she was an intern and she needed to complete 200 hours of work. The place was way far from her hometown, so she needed a temporary place to stay. They were given a 2-week break, luckily. Her mom had accompanied her for the past 2 days, she's staying with Mitch until Desiree takes her and all the rest of the folks somewhere else and enjoy themselves.

"Today is gonna be awesome! I can't wait to see them!" Mitch said as she blowdryed her nice bob-cut hair.

"Mitch?" Her door slowly opened and her mother's head popped in.

"Hey mom!" Mitch greeted.

"Wow, you look great my dear." Her mom complimented. "Have they called already? Are they on their way?"

"Yes mom, Josh just texted me and they're still a bit too far, but I'm sure there's no heavy traffic so they'll get here pretty soon."

"And what time are you going there?"

"They said Des is to arrive at 1pm, so we'll leave maybe 30minutes before 1pm." Mitch said.

"Okay, I'm sure they're gettin' here in no time." her mom assured and slowly left the room.

Mitch looked at herself in the mirror and smiled at her reflection. She felt so gorgeous, marveling at her own face and how her peach tank top and knee-length dark jeans nicely hugged her figure. She had nice curves. She often wore flats, considering the fact that she's got the height and she's the tallest among the other gals, Mitch never really needed heels no more. She looked at her reflection more. She always did that. And once she was done with being amazed at herself, she started dancing a little, she spun around like a ballerina, falling, and plopping right down on her couch filled with DOMO stuffies, now she's lying down, her back against a bunch of Domo. She loved Domo so bad. And while she was sort of buried in her Domo collection, her eyelids grew heavier forcing her into a nap.

*******

It's been almost an hour of waiting. Mitch slowly opened her eyes, checked the time and it was 12 noon already.

"They should be here by now. Hmmm" Mitch whispered as she got up from her Domo-filled-couch. Realizing that the folks would be there at any moment that time, she re-checked herself at the mirror.

"I think I lack something...mmm" Mitch softly spoke as she examined herself more. "Right, I need some accessories."

She walked up to her cabinet and pulled one drawer open displaying her plentiful jewelry boxes. She dug her hands into each box and started searching for some nice jewelry. "Now where is that one....."

A knock on her door sounded. "Come on in, mom" Mitch called out while she busied herself with the pieces of jewelry. She heard the door swung open and footsteps started treading.

"Hey mom have you seen that pearl necklace Lola gave me? I think I misplaced it, you think you could- " Mitch turned around to face her mom, but was extremely surprised to see that it was Desiree standing there, grinning innocently.

"DEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!" Mitch ran to her bestfriend and bear-hugged her too tight, and if bearhugs could kill Desiree would be probably buried 6 feet below the ground that time. LOL

Despite the mystery of how Des got there too early, Mitch just couldn't want to talk of those things anymore and like all she cared about was that Des was right in front of her now.

"OMG! It's you, it's really you! You're real! OMG I can touch you! I can see those braces again! It's really you OMG! No more Skype and videocalls, you're here LIVE! It's real, THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!" Mitch breathlessly spoke in enthusiasm as she held Desiree in her arms.

"Whoa whoa! Hahahaha! Ofcourse it's me! Will you get a grip? HAHAHA! Girl, I MISSED YOU! AAHHHHHHH!!!!!" Des couldn't contain her feelings anymore and gave Mitch a bear hug too.

"But wait a second, so this was what you've planned to do? To surprise me? Us?" Mitch happily asked as they pulled away from the hug.

"Well, not really... It just sorta came across my mind and I thought it's a great idea to give these types of surprises."

"But how did you figure this place out?" Mitch eagerly asked.

Mitch's mom slowly walked in her room, and gave her that "all-knowing-type-of-smile".

"Mom, you knew all along? So you two connived huh?"

Mitch's mom and Des looked at each other, then looked back right at Mitch and couldn't help but laugh.

"OMG! I can't believe this, this is really truly absolutely real!" Mitch laughed and both her mom and Des joined in the cheerful laughter.

A few footsteps from outside the room were comin' close, but the three were laughing so hard they couldn't hear 'em.

---"What's up everybody and what's with all the laught- " Jessica got cut off by the scene inside Mitch's room, Josh and Jaqui were in shock.

The three other girls stopped laughing, and looked at them who just arrived.

"Hey guys!!!" Des greeted them with such an excited grin on her face.

"DEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" The three started to hug Desiree and once again, Des almost got killed by the tight grips.

"We wouldn't want to know how all this happened so quick anymore, no more questions to be asked, LET'S GET ROLLIN' FELLAS!" Josh happily told the rest of the folks.

"Right, we should get in some kind of action right away!" Mitch shouted.

"And forget all the worries! We must have fun!" Jessica said.

"I can't wait to experience this stuff again, just like the old times!" Des excitedly told them.

"And now that we're all complete......I guess this calls for another... GROUP HUG!" Jaqui shouted as she lead the whole group motioning into a nice group hug.

Desiree was living in Canada for almost 2 years now. She had to leave her friends in the Philippines and this was very hard for her to go through. Although it may seem like she had survived almost 2 years of not seeing her folks, deep inside her she was really yearning for nothing else but the moment that she'd see them and have fun with them again, just like the old times.

Now 18, and "legal", Desiree was even more desperate and would want to make a way to get back to her hometown and "revive" those times. She took her chances and decided to join the lottery. Des was just too lucky enough to be one of the 10 winners to hit the jackpot prize: a sparklin-glitterin' $5,000,000 (CAD). It was equally divided to them, receiving $500,000 (CAD) each. Desiree felt like she just won some championship, she was showered with blessings, definitely. She divided the money, taking about 45% of it and was gonna use it for her trip to the Philippines while leaving the remaining 55% to her family in Canada.

She immediately contacted her fellas online, and told them about the wonderful news. They were recognizably too excited about it and without a delay, they started to set dates and places to hang out. Desiree booked a round trip ticket and she was more than ready to take her 25-hour flight to the Philippines, and her friends just couldn't wait no more. And once they meet again, after such a long time... it'll sure be one heck of a party.

Been with the Skwaters at last; We've done it once more, once again

Goodevening, folks. To a certain degree, I am pretty tired tonight. Despite my current condition, I just tried my best to be capable of keeping these drowsy eyes still open, and manage to still make use of my dear computer. It is because, I just cannot, not blog about something really splendid that has just taken place in my life. I don't wanna do blogging tomorrow, I don't know...for some reason I just feel like immediately blogging tonight despite the sleepiness that's fairly beating me right now. LOL

Alright, hello again folks! Haha! I just got home tonight. Folks, I tell you what: The previous 24 hours of my life had been simply, SPLENDID. Ya know why? It is because I finally had the chance to get that perfect moment and spend it with my closest friends ever, the greatest "troop" that I have and which I feel very blessed and lucky that I'm part of this group, my troopy-troop, my closest friends who I consider my "other siblings", my "other family", my folks, my life, SKWATERS FACTION. :)

I've said it before in one of my previous blogs and I'll say it again: After all the stress I've been through over the past whole year in college, I can't say I've already achieved the true definition of "RELIEF" till I finally get some time to spend with my folks AGAIN. Just lately too, I've gone out with my bestfriend alone and spent a whole day with him. I must say I have really felt "Relief" that day. But now that I have just had another relieving experience, now that I have finally spent long hours with my folks, my troop, Skwaters, I think the word "relief" has sort of been "redefined" for me. Like, it was even more defined when I felt the presence of my folks again, after four-freakin-long months dude. Can you believe that? lol

April 1, 2011 (9PM) - April 2, 2011 (9PM) = PURE SATISFACTION AND RELAXATION. We slept over at Mimi's crib. I am the one whose place is the farthest from Mimi's place among us 3 others (Joyce, Jeorge, and I) living in the Philippines, but then again Debby's been in Canada for almost a year now so technically speaking, she's the farthest. lol HAHA! Anyways. Mimi and her mom were just ever so kind to pick me up. Jeorge is a pedicab away and Joyce is always a couple of footsteps away from Mimi's place. And ofcourse, the carnage won't just start if we're incomplete. In order to complete the troop and begin the carnage, we reached Debby on the internet through the awesome powers of SKYPE: "The Sky is the Limit". HAHAHA :))

Slumber. Never-ending stories. Most wanted gossips. Midnight snacks. Video-taping. Picture-taking. Exceedingly laughing. NO-SLEEPING-POLICIES. Puttin' up a nicely insane dare in order to "confine" one person leaving him/her no other choice but to try their very best not to sleep; or else, he/she will do the "embarrassing" dare. Violating the rules slowly. Pleading one another to just disregard that "dare" and ruin the policy of no sleeping. Tellin' ghost stories. Someone gets scared. The other one continues to scare the rest of the folks. The others continue to be scared. This only boy in the group continues tellin' creepy stories. The girls share a mutual scream out of fear. The two girls start talkin' about their "fantasies" in order to save them from being scared by Jeorge's story. HAHAHAHAHA. Then, more story-telling. More stories. Stories..More details. Somebody falls asleep. One down, three more to go lol. Somebody starts to play music on the phone. Another one falls asleep. Eventually, everybody is asleep at insanely 5-FREAKIN'-AM IN THE MORNING! Wakin' up at 10:30am, gettin' up to have brunch. Shootin' another music video. Shower, dress up. Gettin' ready to be on the road. On the way to Tagaytay. Starbucks, dinner. And it's now time to say goodbye...

I can't believe it. I was with Skwaters again. Indeed, the previous 24 hours of my life had been simply, SPLENDID. Thank You, my God for such an amazing experience.
